A Chirstmas Story: Blu-Ray Review

Oh, the classic adventure that every American has seen at least six times is now available for purchase on Blu-ray. The memories of watching this film flood back in such a wonderful way that it was very comfortable sitting with the family viewing this classic masterpiece that will never be let go as long as there is a set to watch it on.
Surprisingly, the quality of the film wasn't as great as I expected but it still was far above and beyond what I was used to watching on TNT while overstuffed with Christmas goodies.. The extras are somewhat interesting, but I think the selling point of this is the HD quality of the film itself, not the bonus content.
I would say that this would be a cool addition to anyone's collection as a gift, but I wouldn't shoot your eye out over anything other than the HD quality...

Marvel getting a huge lineup

The list of Marvel films coming out just continues to be growing. Paramount just inked a deal that has them releasing Thor, Iron Man 2, Captain America and The Avengers. Sam Raimi has joined Tobey (and snaggletooth Kirsten Dunst is rumored) to return to the Spider for two more films to milk from the masses. So far the list is now:
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Iron Man 2
Thor
The First Avenger: Captain America
Spider Man 4
Spider Man 5
The Avengers
Ant-Man
Black Panther
Daredevil 2
Dr. Strange
Ghost Rider 2
Nick Fury
Silver Surfer
Venom
X-Men Origins: Magneto
X-Men Origins: First Class
Ok guys, I think there are a few comics left you can tap. Where is my Gambit movie?
Ratner to continue to ruin movies

Hot on the heels of Activision rejecting him for his Guitar Hero movie idea my good buddy Brett Ratner revealed that he is somehow still getting work..
Titles include 'Playboy' (a biopic on Hugh Hefner) 'God of War' (a video game) and 'Beverly Hills Cop 4'. That last one is the one that excites me the most. Eddie Murphy getting back to his roots, how can we go wrong?
