Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 6
This is totally great. I mean, growing up I was not a Disney kid at all. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the Disney style and stories, but I was all Looney Tunes. This collection will bring anyone back to their fond memories of the original styles and the origins of those wacky toons. From the insanity of Daffy to the wit of Bugs and all the supporting cast this is one for your library of DVD's.

The 4 disc set is so packed full of toons and bonus features that will give any collector goosebumps. These remastered and rare seen pieces are simply wonderful to sit back and enjoy. What was especially engrossing was the documentary about Mel Blanc which clocks in at around the 70 minute mark, something that truly opened my eyes to the people behind the scenes of some of the most recognizable characters of all time.

  SilverHawks

Part metal, part real, all AWESOME. Any kid from the 80's remembers the great cartoons that were born from that special time of television and the Silverhawks are no exception. Created and produced by the same team that brought you Thundercats, Silverhawks brings to life a show that is very similar. The good guys are basically cyborgs flying through space (where you can breathe) fighting the team of "mobsters" led by the evil Mon*Star, who is this shows version of Mum-Ra.

The show does a great job of standing the test of time, and with the exceptions of the theme song and a couple of the characters the show doesn't really leave you with that bad 80's taste in your mouth. The plots are relatively simple (this is a kids show) but the animation and design of the series is enough to keep any cartoon lover interested.
