Bam Margera Presents: Where the #$% is Santa?

Ok, I really never got into the whole Jackass thing. I always thought of a bunch of morons running around sticking things up their asses was just idiotic at best, but for the most part an unwatchable experience. This release is probably the worst of the bunch.

For all the Jackass fans out there, this is a feature of one of the old crew who attempts to stray from the typical formula of breaking things and doing stupid stuff to his friends while they sleep by wrapping it up with some sort of holiday bow.

Instead of doing this sort of thing at home they travel to Helsinki and do it there, annoying the locals and showing some true American colors of what happens to suburban brats who have been raised with no consequence to any of their brainless actions and have in fact profited from it. Really, it wasn't for me, but I guess if you are a hardcore Jackass, you might enjoy this.

  Yes Man

The new comedy from Jim Carrey is one of the best pieces from the comedic genius that I have seen in years. This is the Carrey that everyone fell for back in the Cable Guy era, a film that is reminesisnt of the classic Liar, Liar. One that you can sit down with your in-laws and have a great, clean laugh at without worry of raunchy humor that you might find out there.

The piece really makes you feel that Jim still has it and that he isn't taking the route of other great funny guys in Hollywood, where they have a time of hilarity then they simply fall into obscourity, or make terribly wretched films that no one can watch. I would go check out this flick for sure, it isn't one to pass up..

  Wonder Woman Animated Movie Coming
Here are a few stills from the new animated Wonder Woman movie that is shaping nicely in my opinion. I, like many others, are eagerly waiting for a live action version to get this Justice League thing rolling along, but great things take time..

The new Hobbit footage looks really cool

The Dark Night - BluRay Review

How can I simply sum up the greatest film that I have seen in the past year? Raking in almost a billion dollars at the box office most of you out there have seen this movie, and if you haven't you really are missing out. Quite simply one of the most legendary performances of our generation is how Heath Ledger portrays the Joker. And the only way to view this is on Blu-ray. The IMAX shot footage alone is well worth the extra investment in the latest format, and the bonus features that are included in the first disc are done extremely well, giving any fan more than enough background information on the making of the film.

Sadly, what I felt was lacking was the second disc. It covered a ton of Batman material, but nothing that really related in my opinion. The BD-Live feature was sort of interesting, but I thought that it could have been done much better. None of these things were deal breakers, I just feel that there is a whole wealth of things that will be released in a box set. Also included is a digital copy that is awesome to plug into your iPod.

All in all, this is the ultimate gift for any fan of great cinema this holiday season.
