Freakazoid: The First Season Review
Right, so I was a little old for cartoons of this type when it came out originally and I missed the reairing of the show on Cartoon Network. After slamming through the first season I have to say that I am not all that impressed with the show. The story is pretty wacky and the title charachter really misses the mark for me. The show was meant to be humorous but viewing it as an adult it seemed as thought the creators were just trying too hard to create a "superhero" that was funny. The entire show feels as though it came from an executive board meeting rather than from a creative place. But what can I say, the nieces and nephews seemed to enjoy watching a couple episodes (although the girls started whining about watching Enchanted halfway through the first episode). Where other WB cartoons hit the mark for me, this one missed it.
